Good morning,
The Town Square in Toensberg, Norway, hosts a flower and craft market on Saturdays. The aroma from the flowers was a magnet to this little shop.
There were plenty of crafts for sale, too. This little piggie apron would be perfect for summer grilling. :)
There are several restaurants here...
...and a new water fountain since we were last here. At the top of the satirs next to the fountain...
...is this piece of granite. This is a common granite found here in this part of Southern Norway. This was placed by our friend Olaf Mathiassen.
We sat down and just watched the people go by...
...and the shoppers shop.
I cannot look at a pigeon without thinking of Bert and Ernie's (Sesame Street) song "Doin' the Pigeon."
Down a side street there are many antique shops.
There are some fascinating items for sale.
We stopped at the shop of one of my husband's school mates, but it was not open this day. We returned a few days later and he was there. Pictures to come....
Enjoy,
Lois

Really lovely travel images.
I'd be afraid to wear the piggy apron because I would hate to get it dirty. :) Lovely photos of your husband's home town.
More of your travelog. So interesting to see. hahahahah. The "Doin' the Pigeon" reference.
That looks like a lovely wee town. My sis-in-law lives in Norway near Oslo, we visited a few years ago and really enjoyed it. :)
