I found this post so interesting. I knew a man and his name was Peter Korling. He lives in Big Bear California. He is an artist and he paint trains, of all things. You might, if you are interested, just type in his name on the tool bar and he will come up. His choice of painting trains and his life story ..just all very interesting.

Oh, yes, Thomas the Tank Engine. I read that many times and probably enjoyed the first fifty times . . .
Now, Polar Express I could read over and over and never get tired of it. If it were cooler I would go looking for it now.
You must be the perfect wife, you are interested in railroads!! I love the photos especially the Thomas the Tank Engine lookalike. I loved Thomas, probably more than son did.

What a lovely way to pass the day. I love to see olde train yards and I love to watch the trains. There are so many interesting things to do with our lives, right. We spend many a day walking the same paths to the beach, just to see what the tides have left us. I am a first time visitor here and now I shall go read some more and be back for a visit.
