White Water Rafting

Good morning,

We spotted this bus on the way to a white water rafting starting point so decided to pull off and see if we could get some pictures.
We had a good idea where they were going because we have been here before.
We pulled off the expressway and, sure enough the bus pulled off behind us.
We waited for awhile watching the river for signs of the rafts.
While we waited, more buses passed us.
It didn't take long!  Here they come!

What started out pretty slow up stream picked up speed as they approached the bridge where we were standing to take pictures.
A few seconds later, they had passed below us.

This was such a fun photo stop!

Enjoy,
 Lois

Nice pics. I've done that but it was years ago in a 4 man raft when my kids were little.

It looks like fun...for someone younger than me! I would love to know how old some of those buses are.

Looks like an adventure! The water looks a bit placid for whitewater rafting, but I'm assuming they get to some rougher water downstream.

Lois, I think we also passed this place if it's the one not too far from Bryson, NC. We made a stop in this area on a train ride with the Great Smokey Mountain RR. Hope you have safe travels to FL.
