My Honey and I love museums and trains so this one was a win-win.
This old steam engine with one car attached provides rides and a turn on a round table.
We were here late in the date and opted to spend the little time the museum was still open taking pictures from outside the train while walking around the grounds.
Here you see the train being turned on the round table...
...just before it was backed up about 75 yards while a tour guide was talking with the guests on board.
It would move all the way back to the left side of the image above...
...and then come back to the round table.
Such fun!

That's neat. Our grandson in Utah would LOVE that train. He has 23 electric train sets, the last to be acquired was the Amtrak.

Great photos. Our 14 year old Grandson would love it. He's fascinated with trains at the present. He's slightly autistic, and he goes from one thing to another with his fascination about them. For several years it was flushing toilets no matter where he went, then he would look it up on the computer and tell you how much water it used to flush and so forth. I love seeing the trains! We've done several railroad museums, and they are fascinating.
Gosh, you ARE train fanatics. If you ever get to New England, there is a cool little train in Essex, CT, which is good for a ride during our foliage season. And, of course, you should take a ride on Mt. Washington's cog railway in New Hampshire.
This would really be an interesting place to visit...just kind of always loved trains.
