Inside the Caboose

Good morning,

We were able to go inside many of the railroad cars at the Georgia Railroad Museum.  We were inside this caboose when I took the next two images.
There wasn't a whole lot inside this car, but this was obviously very important to anyone riding here during the winter.
This is the part that I found most interesting.  The people in the caboose could climb those ladders to compartments where there were two seats in each one.  That's where someone would be sitting when you saw him waving from the caboose.

This is a fun museum because we were able to go inside this and other rail cars and explore on our own.

 Enjoy,
 Lois

the stove is pretty cool to think about in a train car. :)

That sounds like fun! That old stove is pretty neat. Can't you just picture the people around it?
