Ducks in South Carolina

Good morning,

We are on our way South again.  These wonderful ducks always greet us at the Hampton Inn in Columbia, South Carolina.  Papa duck was out strolling by himself...
...Mama Duck was carefully watching over her baby ducks...
...as she taught them how to look for yummy morsels in the grass.

 So cute!
Since we are on the road, my blog posts and images will be a few days behind real time.

Soon, though, we will be back aboard Freedom of the Seas where I guarantee my posts and images will not include any snow!

All the best,
Lois

Update:  Mark just shared a really cool video of a banker saving some baby ducks from a ledge.  Check it out!

Ducks are always fun to watch. When we go to Greenwood Lake in So Carolina, we have lots of ducks and feed them morning and night. Left over pancakes, bread, fruit, they will eat just about anything...debbie

Cute little ducks. Muscovy Ducks. I've never seen Muscovy babies before. I envy your trips across the ocean. What fun you must have. I went on a cruise once, a very long time ago. It was grand!

Quite a nice little family!

It is sunny and in the low 50's right now, but it is supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow and Monday! They were predicting 4-7 inches...don't know about that now. I will believe it when I see it.

Safe travels, Lois, and also smooth sailing. We will be on the road for the Easter holiday but heading to New England where hopefully we will not run into ny snow storms. We of up and down on our weight loss goals, glad your plan is working.
