The Boat House and Blogging Program Note

Good morning,

This is The Boat House on the Ohio River at Cincinnati.
What a beautiful view of the Ohio River you get from this restaurant.  We have eaten both lunch and dinner here while watching the river traffic.

Enjoy,
Lois

Blogging Programming Note:

In real time My Honey and I are on the road from Ohio to Florida on our way to board Freedom of the Seas on Sunday for another ten weeks.  While we are on the move my blog runs a few days behind where we are in real time.

While we are at sea we can access our email 24/7, but we are only able to log on via our Verizon air cards to visit other blogs without timing out while they load while we are in US ports for a limited number of hours.  So, please know we are checking in on your blogs as possible in US ports, but may not be making comments as often as we do when we are at home.

Stay tuned for road trip and high seas posts!  :)

That boat house looks like a great place for a leisurely lunch or dinner!
Gosh Lois, cruise or not, I don't think I'd like being away from home for 10 weeks. But I guess you get used to it.
I hope you have an awesome trip!
Love Di ♥

How wonderful to get the spend the holiday months in the tropics. Well, maybe not so much fun to be away from your family. I'm thinking maybe you get to take a few days back home to visit for Christmas. Looking forward to seeing your cruising photos.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all of the good wishes. We'll soon be on board and back to our "other life" at sea.

No, we won't be going home for Christmas. We were home last year and will be home next year. With ten weeks on/ten weeks off the schedule for holidays reverses each year. The grandkids aren't too unhappy because they will have an extra Christmas next February. ;)

Thanks again, for your kind comments.

All the best,
Lois
