Red Roses - Day and Night

Good morning,

One of the things that I just love about being aboard Freedom of the Seas is the fresh flowers!  There is a florist on board who can provide beautiful flowers for any occasion.
When I received these in the evening, I took pictures right away.
I took the last 2 pictures in natural light the next morning.
Amazing beauty!

Enjoy,
Lois

I love cut flowers. Yours are wonderful.

Great bouquet! Now for the logistics. How does the ship's florist keep an ongoing supply of fresh flowers? Are they replenished at every port?

Hi Yogi and Kathy,

Kathy: The flowers are brought on board in Port Canaveral every Sunday. It may seem like magic, but they are fresh and beautiful all week when I see them displayed on the flower cart on the Royal Promenade. Of course, there are appropriate storage facilities. I would guess most people order them early in the cruise to enjoy all week on board since fresh cut flowers are not permitted back in the USA no matter their source.

Thanks Kathy and Yogi, for stopping by and for your kind comments.

All the best,
Lois

The flowers are very beautiful.

I am confused as to your lifestyle. You talk about being away at sea. Then I've seen photos you've taken while on the road. Do you just take a lot of cruises?
