Needlework Update - November, 2012

Good morning,

Another month already and time for another Needlework Update.  Although we've had birthdays to celebrate, photo safaris near home to capture Autumn colors, and a road trip between Ohio and Florida, the crochet hooks have been hooking and the knitting needles have been clicking again this month. Many of these items are available in our on line Etsy Shop:  EvensensProductions.com.

Above is a generous size, very warm crocheted shawl.  The beauty of this piece is the texture of the yarns and the gorgeous color.
Here is something I haven't made for awhile.  This is a set of three 100% cotton knit mug rugs (a place to park your coffee mug), or snack mats (big enough for both your coffee and a snack), or wash/spa cloths (use to smooth on your favorite soap or bath oil), or dish cloth (great texture for cleaning dishes.)  The set comes with  a crocheted band that is convenient and so pretty for gift giving.
A little Christmas turtle was born this month, too.  He's in our shop.  ;)
This was a special order for Daughter Catherine.  She loves tunic sweaters and picked out the yarn herself.  Catherine is one of my enablers;  the other is My Honey.  Catherine does all of the shipping from the on line shop while I am traveling.  She also is constantly on the lookout for yarn she knows I like and is known to fill up her car with it.
And, of course, more bottle covers this month.
These are so cute to dress up bottles of wine or Champagne.
So, it has been a very busy month!

There are currently more than 140 items available in our on line shop, EvensensProductions.com, and I hope you'll come over and take a look.

What have you been making?  I love seeing what you are making on your blogs, too, and many of you also have on line Etsy Shops, too.  All the best to all of you for a great holiday season!
And, now we return to our regularly scheduled blogging.  ;)

All the best,
Lois

Your hands have been very busy Lois. I think the turquoise shawl is beautiful. I love the colours.

You have really been busy! Are you crocheting also when you drive? Well, I mean when your husband drive? With Christmas soon coming on it is good to fill up your online Etsy Shop.
