Autumn Color

Good morning,

We saw this tree beginning to turn color a couple of weeks ago while we were on a road trip along the Ohio River.  It's a little blurry taken on the run (or roll of the car wheels), but it is such a huge beautiful tree that I'm glad I got the image that I did.

More Fall Foilage images are coming. :)

All the best,
Lois

The colors are beautiful! Our trees are pretty but we've noticed a lot of them are dropping leaves already from the drought this summer.
Thankfully, we did get some gorgeous colors first though.

I love getting shots of trees in transition like this one...the colors along with green make for a gorgeous combination!

I love the tips coloured in orange while the rest of the tree remains green here.

It's SO pretty! I love when a green tree is tipped with red. I am getting sad, because the leaves have completely fallen off some of our trees. They will all be gone soon.

That really is a beautiful tree. Shooting from a moving vehicle can be challenging!

I bet it is really glorious by now. :) Did you notice the vintage car beneath it? Our leaves are mostly off now but there is still some golds of the maples, tamarack and oak.

That's a real Americana shot, Lois with that old car, the flag and promise of great fall foliage. If you're not the driver, have to takes chance with "rolling" shot. My friend loves to tell the story of whizzing past the Grand Canyon with her husband as the driver. When she protested, he just said "if you wanted to stop, you should have said." :-)

Hi Lois...Some tree are just begging for a photo shot on on the fly,"Hey look at me" this is one of them ; }
That looks like an old car in the drive and the blur of the flag makes it an even more interesting picture!!

I miss the Fall colors that come with higher elevations. Here in Arizona it's just now dropping below 100 degrees, and the grandbabies are able to play outside.

I have got some just like it...and yes, it is lovely. Don't you wish you could stop every time you saw something? But if I did, I would not make it to the destination.
