Blue Spruce by the Pool

Good morning,

While we were enjoying our friend Erica's pool with our grandsons, I couldn't help but notice the beautiful Blue Spruce.
It was terribly hot when these images were taken, but I could just imagine how pretty these trees must be when covered with snow.

Also between sections of the deck by the pool, there is a small waterfall and pond.
There are fish in the pond, but they are hiding under a ledge today.  It's so hot, it's not a good day to be in the sun.
The pond and waterfall are in the center of this image.

If you look beyond the pool, you see a green lawn.  Far at the other end of that lawn is a fairly large pond.  Tomorrow I'll share the images of the dogs doing some frogging down at the lake.  ;)

Best,
Lois

The pond brings back lots of memories when we had them here and the work they took to keep clean under willow trees made the sledge hammer go to work. They are still here, or the bottoms are, cracked and left in place under the soil.

You took some nice photos.

Gorgeous....I always loved the scent of pine, and the blue spruce is a favorite. Enjoyed the photo share. And the trickling water cascading over the rock formation...I can almost hear the gentle sound.

Water, water everywhere, I imagine the pool was the favorite of the grandkids though. I would enjoy the sound of the waterfall.

I've enjoyed the pool posts. That is a beautiful setting. The boys (all 4 of them!) truly enjoyed the day and so did the Labs.

I love blue spruce trees. My father has several at his house in Idaho. He's a retired forest ranger so he has lots of trees.

We loove Blue Spruce. We had a beauty in the back of our lot, but last spring it died very quickly for some reason. We miss it. Your friends have a beautiful yard with the pool, pond and fish pond...my kinda yard!!...debbie
