Views from Our Window

Good morning,

Something wonderful about cruising is that you unpack once, but wake up somewhere different every morning.  Today I'm sharing some images takes over a few days of the views outside my stateroom window.
This pirate ship is a tour you can take...
...but you will be living dangerously!  ;)  As they pass our cruise ship, they set off what sounds like a canon shot as if they are pirates attacking.
This small ferry boat arrives and departs while we are tied up in Cozumel, Mexico.  It is a very small version of the ferries we saw in nearly every port in Europe.
This is the view we have of the harbor in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.
St. Thomas is surely one of our most beautiful ports of call.  The sand in the water in the foreground of this image is pushed up from our bow thruster as we are docking.  The sand quickly settles as soon as we are tied up to the dock and the thrusters are no longer pushing us close to the dock.

Ah, yes, what a lovely place to be when it is cold at home!

Very best,
Lois

I have never been to any of the places you are visiting. It's been such a wonderful trip to see everything through your camera lens. Thanks for sharing!

Lois, surely we will all miss these great window views when you return home, so maybe you can send us views from there too :-) The pirate ship and ferry must look like toy boats compared to Freedom. By the way, does Greta ever stop back home - 302 cruises must mean several yearly. WOW!

Good morning,

Thanks, Montanagirl, the images are our favorite souvenirs of the many places we visit. We'll be able to visit these places again whenever we want to by looking at the images.

Beatrice, Greta sure does spend a lot of time at sea. She is a very lovely lady and is a walking historian of the company.

Thank you, ladies, for stopping by.

Very best,
Lois

I like the forest view from my bedroom window but I'll have to admit a new view every morning would be exciting. About all I can hope for is some changes in color with the upcoming autumn.
