Today I am taking a final walk around Freedom of the Seas before we pack up and go home for awhile.
Yes, we will be on the high seas again, but it is always somewhat sad when it is time to leave.
We are in Labadee, Haiti, today as I take a walk around deck four...
...and see the activities on the calm water below.
This is the aft part of deck four. Have you ever seen an exhaust like this?
Here I find an officer in working clothes inspecting a job being performed on the side of the ship.
Back inside, here are two decks of the Arcadia Theater...
...the Schooner Bar where a Trivia Game is in progress...
...and at the other end is Boleros, a hot spot every evening for music and dancing.
Just one more walk around the top deck...
...past the rock climbing wall...
...and through the Viking Crown Lounge for the best view of the pool deck and the ocean.
We had a fancy seafood dinner at Portofino Italian Restaurant, a specialty restaurant on board.
And soon it is time to put luggage identifiers on my luggage.
We will be back at sea before we know it. I love being at sea. I love being at home. I am so blessed to be able to enjoy both.
Very best,
Lois

The best of both worlds, so to speak. Where do you spend most of the year, Lois?
Good Morning Lois, WHEW that was some cruising adventure and we're sure going to miss reading about and seeing the cruising adventures. When is the next one?
Another beautiful post, Lois.
Enjoy your weekend! xx
It's been a wonderful journey! You did such a nice job with your descriptions and photos of it. What's next??
Stay safe...
Good morning,
Yes, it is a good life. It would be perfect for someone with two very different personalities. ;)
We are scheduled to be home for ten weeks, but have other travel, even back to the ship for a meeting for one week, and a trip North to Chicago, soon, too.
As much as I love being at sea, it is nice to be on land where I have my high speed Internet connection so that I can upload pictures and view your sites without the connection timing out. While at sea I have to wait until I have my Verizon land connection in a US port before I can do much more than email. I solve this problem by doing all the work in advance, then doing all the uploading as soon as we reach the good old USA and a good connection again.
Thank you, everyone, for stopping by and for your good wishes.
Very best,
Lois
I've so enjoyed cruising with you! It's been a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to our next curise.
