Labs at the Lake

 Good morning,

Here are a few images my daughter Catherine sent to me.  These three lucky Labs spent a Fall morning at the lake of one of their group.  Labs and water are a natural combination and this group made the most of it.
 This is our Penny...
...who in this picture is standing beside a lap Lab who is only 6 months old.
This is our lap Lab, Erik, on daughter Catherine's lap.  Erik is 18 months old and will surely always be a lap Lab.  ;)
And, here is another image of the baby lap Lab.

These images are just so cute I thought I'd share them with you.

Enjoy,
Lois

Hello Lois
No lap dogs here only a big brown lap cat lol
I do have to say I think Labradors - like Burmese cats - are the true family pet
Take care

Hi Lois, WOW Erik is one big puppy and maybe one day folks will be in his lap! He looks like a lovable fellow too.

Mr. Lap lab...what a cutie! My German Shepherd, Harry, used to be like that too - I think he always thought he was the size of a Yourkie - and not a 45 kilo giant! Oh well, just more of them for us to hug! Please give Erik an extra big hug from me next time he plops himself down on your lap. Harry's not here for me to hug any more...
Your Penny is a super sweet cutie too!
Ahh...dogs and cats and horses and birds; four of God's really nice gifts to us!

I am amazed that the labs took a little time away from the lake! I love the lap labs. They do love to cuddle.

Oh, you really tugged at my heart!!! My Molly is a definite lap dog. The problem with Labs. . . no one ever taught them they are dogs, they think they are human! I've had 3 Labs over the years and can't imagine my life without one.

Oh Lois, I had a beloved Black Lab for many years. I miss him so much.
I can so relate to the lap Lab, that was adorable! Love Di ♥

Good morning, everyone,

Yes, the dogs are wonderful, aren't they! A quick report on Erik: he showed for the first time last weekend and brought home four ribbons! One of them was for first place! I'm so proud of both Catherine (who does all the training and showing) and of Erik. Penny brought home blue ribbons, too, but had a problem with an injury to her paw in a tunnel. Catherine gave her first aid and Penny is walking fine now, but will go to the vet today just to be sure it is all OK.

A big welcome to Angie Queen as a new follower. She has a great blog if you want to follow the link to her up there in the comments.

Thank you so much, everyone for stopping by. :)))

Very best,
Lois
