Happy Birthday to David

Good morning,

On a crisp Fall morning we helped grandson David celebrate birthday number 12 with his classmates.  Here is our birthday celebration team unloading food and supplies.
Daddy purchased pizza and drinks for all twenty eight children in David's class.
This is an event that parents can provide for a birthday celebration.  It is very wisely put into a specified time period.  The favorite food is the choice of the celebrant.
Here's our team waiting for all of David's class to arrive.  Daddy is seated with the pizza and drinks, Auntie Catherine and Grandpa are ready to go into action serving, and yes, that's me behind the camera.  ;)
I was too busy putting pieces of pizza on plates to get any pictures while we were serving, but here are some happy faces just as the pizza disappeared.  It didn't take long for all the pizza and drinks to be consumed.

We were very impressed that each child came back to where we were packing up after lunch to thank us.

I just love this private school where the children wear uniforms and traditional haircuts.  Please note there is an American Flag hanging above the door in the second picture above.  Yes, a FLAG in a school!   Also, the children pray, yes, PRAY, at lunch time!
We celebrated David's birthday at Grandma and Grandpa's (our) home, too, with the whole family including Aunt Carol.
After dinner, the best part of the evening arrived...
 ...songs and dessert!
David did a good job of blowing out the candles...
...as we all celebrated the day with David.

Happy Birthday, David!

Good morning,

Thank you, everyone for the good wishes for David. He had a fun birthday with his school friends and his family. He's a pretty cool kid. Of course, I am very prejudiced about that!

Thanks for stopping by. ;)

Very best,
Lois
