We've been doing a lot of this lately. Kroger has pre-made salads that are very fresh, surely because they sell so many of them. Not only does this make it easy to get fresh salads often, it probably saves money in the long run when there are only two of us. If I had bought all of those ingredients and had done all of the preparation, I know I would have spent more money and there would surely have been waste.
This is one that I bought in family size, then Kjell and I split it into two bowls and shared it. We added the dressing and bread and butter pickles. It easily made a full lunch for each of us.
