Work in Process This Week

 Good morning,

This is my Work in Process at the moment.  I'm loving how the colors play against the creamy white.  The colored yarn is a cotton acrylic blend with a little texture to it.  It turns out looking very lacy inside the cream blocks.  It's fun to work up different effects with different types of yarn.

I plan for this to be a rather large blanket so it'll take awhile.

What are you making, baking, growing this week?

All the best,

Lois

I love all the blankets you make! I found some cotton yarn that I bought many years ago, it was planned to be a crochet jacket. I started on it now, but desided it was not what I wanted now. So I have started to knit a sweater with the yarn. The yarn is in a beautiful dark brown, but the color is not produced anymore. I am not sure if there is enough yarn, it is knitted top down. So if not I can make some stripes at the end. Have a nice week!
