Very Fat and Sassy Fish

Good morning,

The fish in our garden pond are fat and sassy this Spring.

They find more than enough to eat without us adding any food.  They stay warm in the winter with a tank de-icer that we put in the pond when it is cold enough for it to freeze.  The de-icer is what farmers use to keep water tanks defrosted for livestock.
It's hard to get a good picture of them when the sun is reflecting on the water.
At the moment the challenge is to convince Elsa that the fish don't want to play with her.

It's wonderful to be retired and home, especially in these trying times.

Stay safe, stay well, stay strong,  my friends.  We'll make it through this coming month.

 Lois

I have a painting of a woman looking at her koi pond. It hangs in my living room.
