San Juan, Puerto Rico

Good morning,

Earlier this month we "out ran" or, rather, "ran around" Hurricane Matthew aboard Freedom of the Seas.
We slipped out of Port Canaveral a little early and past the in-coming hurricane...
...and made a run for San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The weather was overcast and the sea was a little choppy, but otherwise, it was very pleasant.

While aboard other ships, My Honey and I made regular visits to San Juan so we are very familiar with this entrance into the port.
There were plenty of US Coast Guard boats in port.
The yellow building is a newer terminal than the smaller...
...terminal visible in the center right of the image above, behind the ferry.
I remember when Royal Caribbean's first ships fit along side this yellow terminal building.  The extensions on the left of the image were added more recently to accommodate larger ships.
It was fun making a stop here.  We came in late in the afternoon and left before midnight to make our next stop.

Enjoy,
Lois
