Very, Very Big Catalytic Converter

Good morning,

Recently I showed you the large piece of equipment on the dock in Port Canaveral that was destined to be installed on board Freedom of the Seas
Today I am publishing the images of the new "scrubber," a huge catalytic converter to clean exhaust gasses being lifted into place above the Viking Crown Lounge which is on Deck 14 of this huge ship.
I'm standing on Deck 12 taking these pictures.
Here it comes!

I estimate it is about the level of Deck 8 here.
Now it is almost along side Deck 12.
 Up and over!

 Closer...
 ...closer...
 ...closer...
 ...almost there!
The new equipment will be mounted here and will have a cover around it.  There is still a great deal of work to be done.  It should be operational sometime in December.

There is always something different happening on board a ship!

What a lift! Working around a ship that has a schedule would have its challenges I would think.

can't help but appreciate the efforts made to install such huge equipment.

I would have a hard time watching that...afraid something would go wrong/something break. I for sure would want to be at a safe distance.
