I wish I were an Oscar Mayer Weiner

Good morning,

Early one morning I went to the post office to mail some packages and saw this sitting in front of the grocery store next door.

This weiner mobile is a newer version than I've seen before.  Other times I've sighted one of these there were mobs of people around taking pictures.  I got a kick out of the two people who left the store with groceries and chatting with one another.  They passed this thing as if it was any other SUV in the parking lot.  Maybe it was just too early....

When was the last time you saw one of these sitting in front of your grocery store?

;),
Lois

That's pretty funny - I have never seen one before.

I've NEVER experienced seeing this...the old OR new version. What a hoot.

I saw one very similar years and years ago. This is state of the art in comparison.

I've never seen one it person, but I have a friend who rode in one.
I've been wanting some hot dogs these past few days....

I have NEVER seen one in real life! Bet they are fun to drive...other people think: watch out for the weiner...he is crossing over the center line....he'll get mustard on you!

I have never seen a weiner-mobile, except in photos and never in our area, Lois. Wonder if they have a grill on board?

I saw it on Oahu, probably in 1999 or 2000. There had been a contest for children to sing the 'Wish I was an Oscar Weiner' song. A little five-year-old girl who lived there won the contest, so the Weinermobile visited. It was a really big thing at the time!

Quite fancy! Being so far north we seldom see fun things like this.
