Return to Viera Wetlands

Good morning,

When we go to Florida to go on board our ship we always arrive a couple of days early so we can visit Viera Wetlands.  While there we visit at least once a day and always find different views to photograph.  The afternoon we arrived this time, we had this guy out there as our reception committee.  :)
There are spots where visitors can find shade from the hot Florida sun and pause to watch the wildlife.
And, the wildlife is nearby watching the people.
These beautifully calm waters are teeming with life.
Ah, the welcome sun to dry feathers.
Reflections on a partly cloudy day.
 Herons fishing...
 ...alligators watching.
 Beautiful!

Enjoy,
Lois

It must be such a delight to get to visit those wetlands so often! I'd like to get there just once. LOL. I always enjoy your photos from there.

My Rejang river in Borneo is infested with crocs too. Yet, we were brave top swim in it.
