Runaway Vines

Good morning,

It was fun watching and listening to the birds flying in and out of the ivy vines that have overtaken the tree on the property at the corner of three properties.  The symphony of bird songs is just delightful.  I can only imagine how many nests are hiding in there.

I was sitting on our patio when I took this picture of our garage and the tree behind it.  The tree is on the neighbor's property.  Since the leaves on the tree haven't started to appear, it is very easy to see the ivy vines.  About ten years ago one of those very large limbs came down on our garage.  Fortunately, the damage was minimal.  If more limbs come down now, they will most likely land on one of the other three properties that meet just about where the tree stands.

Ah, Spring!

Enjoy,
Lois

The sound of all those birds would be wonderful to hear. That is a lot of vine. Is the tree dead? I'd be worried about more damage from falling limbs. Enjoy your spring weather!

I love to hear all the birds happily singing in springtime. However, we woke up to everything covered in white this morning. Guess spring will have to wait.
