Needlework Update - March, 2014

Good morning,

It's that time again for a monthly needlework update of items flowing off of my knitting needles and crochet hooks as I work to restock the shop after great sales during the past few months.

Above is a Lacy Ladders original design sweater in a gorgeous shade of turquoise.  It was listed in our little on line shop EvensensProductions.com and has been sold.
I made four more sets of...
luggage identifiers.
These will make your luggage...
...stand out on a crowded conveyor belt.
I also made a few more wine (or sparkling water) bottle covers in various colors for people of many interests including Red Hat Ladies...
...red and black for University of Cincinnati fans...
...red and white for Cincinnati Reds fans...
...white for the bride...
...and yellow and white for your Spring and Summer dinner parties.
These Zero Calorie Cupcakes are spoken for...
...but these...
...three little turtles are in the on line shop.
I also made more cloche hats that can be used as chemo caps.
I have them priced very reasonably from $8 to $16.
There are hats for both men and women.  Above is an aran fleck yarn hat with a brown band...
...this one has a dark green band...
...and this one has a black band.  I have rolled/folded this one to show how easily it will fit into a coat pocket.
Here is one for your favorite Red Hat Lady.  :)  The lady bug just finishes the style perfectly!
These are all in different sizes...
...and styles.  I love this little green caterpillar on the pink flower.
Here come the butterflies!
Many of these are in children's sizes.

This last purple hat is sized for an adult.
On the knitting needles now is a beige cowl for the shop. This is made of two strands of yarn worked independently so that it produces a reversible, very warm fabric.  It will be just perfect for next Fall.

That is what I've been doing for the past month.  I enjoy seeing all of your projects, marvelous meals, gardens, and quilts, too.  There are so many talented people out here in blog land.  :)

This month is the third anniversary of Evensens Productions on line shop.  My sincere thanks to all of you who have supported our little business of original and traditional hand made items through purchases and encouragement as new designs and items rolled out and into the shop.  I want to give a special thanks to my daughter, Catherine, who encouraged me to open Evensens Productions on line shop three years ago this month, is a major part of purchasing materials and shipping while I am traveling with My Honey (my husband, of course) for his work.  Thank you, Catherine, I am so enjoying this and have met so many fine people here.  My Honey is also a big fan, supporter of my work, and has allowed me to add some of his beautiful hand crafted wood items to the shop.

To celebrate our third anniversary and say thank you, we are offering free shipping on orders of in-stock merchandise of $100 or more to be shipped to USA addresses. The coupon code to use at checkout is THREEYEARSEP1478. The coupon is good through April 30, 2014.

Thank you, everyone!

All the very best,
Lois

Your hats I love and your sweater beautiful.

The rest I would not buy .

To each their own right.

Glad you had a good sale though.

I could not see a wine bottle looking like that.

I would prefer to see a wine bottle painted black and silhouette figures of a lady or man in white against the black signature. They make great conversation pieces. Bottle with the chalk paint look or jar sealers done that way.

Yet I know your doing crafts of crochet and knitting. Not crafts of paint.

I guess because I am loving paint items and silhouettes and paper roses, lilies crafts.

Very perfect works you have done. I must be honest there.

The butterfly childrens hats would have been sold out here very quickly.

It is trendy to buy nice and smart HANDMADE clothes.
Young people also go for the RETRO style.

Strange in some ways, but also nice.
