Accident - South Carolina

Good morning,

Not every road trip is pleasant for some people.

We saw an accident happen ahead of us and, of course, stopped to help.  The car spun off the road while traffic was moving 65-70 mph.  It was fortunate there were not more vehicles involved.
I called 911 while My Honey went to help people in the car.  The driver was out and My Honey was on the other side of the car attempting to help the lady in the passenger seat, but equipment was needed to get her out of the car.
The police arrived quickly and the report is that everyone was OK.

Are you like me and say a prayer when you see such things happen?  We were so grateful this couple survived and were OK.

All it takes is a split second for a bumper to be clipped and you can find yourself spinning off the road.

All the best,
Lois

Glad to read that everyone involved was safe, Lois. We have thankfully never seen an accident happen while on our road trips, but usually have seen the aftermath with police and rescue vehicles on the scene. Hope that the rest of your journey hope is pleasant travels and good weather as well.

That is so scary to see when on the highway. I've seen cars burning on the side of the road before too, and that is very scary. And I always pray for those involved in an accident. I'm glad these folk were okay. It can happen so fast!

When I think about how easily accidents like this can happen I marvel that there aren't way more. So glad the people were okay.
