Oasis of the Seas

Good morning,

As we pulled into St. Maarten, Dutch West Indies, aboard Freedom of the Seas, the first thing I saw from our living room window was the Oasis of the Seas, another ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet.
Oasis is the largest cruise ship in the world and is so big that I had to take two pictures to get all of her.  ;)

More images of Oasis to come!

All the best,
Lois

It's a wonder something that big stays afloat! Nice shots, Lois.

We were docked across from it recently. Yes, it is huge, and maybe someday we'll be lucky enough to book a cruise on her. Since you moderate, I do not expect this comment to show, but I would like you to sometime tell us the function of that open space on the stern.

Barbara, The open space on the stern is part of the design of the ship to allow for space for the aqua theater where high diving shows are performed. It's quite lovely.

Thanks, everyone, for stopping by and for your kind comments.

All the best,
Lois
