Oasis of the Seas in St. Maarten

Good morning,

I took these pictures of Oasis of the Seas in St. Maarten, Dutch West Indies, from deck 12 of Freedom of the Seas.
I was standing on the world's second largest cruise ship taking pictures of the world's largest cruise ship.  These ships are amazing.
I am not the only person standing on Freedom's deck admiring Oasis.  :)

For more of the story of Oasis and Freedom, see my post from 2010 when we were first in the same port at the same time.  Also included are aerial images. This is my all time most popular blog post.

Enjoy,
Lois

That last shot has a very monumental feel to it. Such a lovely view of an amazing ship. You are so lucky to travel on sea with such an amazing cruiser.

That is incredible the size of that ship. Keeping track of everybody nevermind getting them fed is quite a production.

I'd love to tour one of these cruise ships...just to see. I bet it would take a couple of hours at least to see everything.

Thanks, everyone, for your very kind comments.

Rose, it takes more than a couple of hours to see those ships. I'm still finding things on Freedom after being here 3.5 years. We were guests for lunch aboard Oasis a couple of years ago and we surely didn't see everything in the four hours we were there, either. These ships are amazing.

All the best,
Lois
