More from the Brevard Zoo

Good morning,

I'm still going through images from our trip to the Brevard Zoo.  More turtles!  Of course, I can't  miss a change to take pictures of turtles.
Here's a resting Sand Hill Crane.  I see plenty of these characters around Florida and wonder if this one wandered into the zoo or is an official part of the exhibit.
And, as we rounded another trail in the zoo we came upon these paddle boats.  I have to think there could be some critters I wouldn't want to meet up close in these Florida waterways!

 All the best,
Lois

I'm sure there are a few snakes and alligators in those waters! I always see sandhill cranes when I visit my daughter in Orlando. She complains about them and their droppings on the patio, but I love them!

I like turtles a lot too. Enjoyed your photos Lois. After visiting the Everglades recently, not sure you'd get me in a paddle boat either. Have a great week :)

I live above a water hazard on a golf course in Naples. Gopher tortoises live in the water hazard and occasionally I see them on the fairway.
