The Pause That Refreshes

Good  morning,

I'm wandering down the Royal Promenade of Freedom of the Seas with camera in hand once again.  That car above is parked in front of Vintages, a lovely wine cafe where you can relax and watch the world go by.
Right now there is a tasting happening so you can stop and have a sample.
For your favorite brew you can stop at Bull and Bear.  I have shown you this one before.  You may get the idea I like this place, hmm?  ;)  Actually, I drink more fancy water than I drink alcohol and this is a lovely place to do it.
Across the way is Sorrentos where you can get a slice of pizza and a glass of your favorite beverage.

You will never go hungry or thirsty on board Freedom of the Seas.

;),
Lois

This looks lovely. Just like a street scene of sidewalk cafes. Love the vintage car!

They give you all you can eat free, but still try to sell you food?

I LOVE pizza; however, my husband does not, so we don't have it very often.

Always amazed that the ship interior mall looks grander that some malls on land and possibly more costly a place to shop.

Thanks for sharing pictures of your cruise. I am going on my first one in October.

The best place to relax is inside that lovely car--but I don't suppose that's allowed.....

I'm beginning to catch up with blog reading after a couple of weeks of time spent with grandchildren. I was surprised to see the rock climbing wall and golf course on the ship, although I probably shouldn't be, what with everything else they have.

Hi Everyone,

Mersad, the ship if BIG! Information about Freedom of the Seas is here:

Mark, yes, you can eat all cruise for the price of your cruise ticket, but there are specialty venues where you can get some other meals with very personalized service for a nominal cost. The special restaurants are always very busy!

And, for those concerned about prices, you can shop here without spending the retirement money. There are some excellent items you can purchase reasonably.

Thanks for stopping by and for your very kind comments.

All the best,
Lois
