Arrival - Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Good morning,

The rain stopped long enough for us to check into the Hilton Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale.

That cables and lace sweater I am finishing on this trip is in that green bag standing up in the center.  In fact, that's all that is in that green bag.  :)  I packed the sweater, yarn, and knitting supplies in their own case to keep everything together, unharmed, and clean.
As soon as we got checked in, we went for a walk around the pool.
What a lovely private area for a hot tub!
We have been here before for other meetings.  It's a lovely hotel.
And, it's a good thing we took some pictures because there wasn't much more sunshine for the rest of the week!
 No diving?  Ok, we'll...
...go to dinner.  ;)  That's called "One Foot In and One Foot Out" at the Rustic Inn, a nearby restaurant.  Other restaurants might call it surf and turf.  Whatever it is called, it is fantastic!

Yum!

Lois

Looks like a beautiful hotel. I've never heard it called "one foot in, one foot out", but I like it!
