Downtown St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.

Good morning,

Here are some street scenes from downtown St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.
Although many of the larger companies have stores both downtown and at the port, some smaller dealers are only downtown.
I love how the old parts of the town aren't torn down to build new structures.  The new structures are built around the old ones.
When we came upon this restaurant the memory kicked in.  We ate here the first time in 1997 and will eat here again today.  Those images are to come in another post.
So many archways, stairways, and walkways weave through the downtown area.
 Just beautiful!

All the best,
Lois

Lots of artwork for sale in that one area and I wondered if these are all by local artists, Lois. St Thomas does look like an inviting destination for walking and dining and just browsing.

It looks very much like it did in the late 1980s when I was last there.
