Rainy Day Road Trip

Good morning,

In real time we are on the road again headed South to Florida.  These pictures are from the last time we headed South when it rained most of the way.  I'll catch up with more current images very soon.  The above image was taken early in the morning as we passed Xavier University near our home.
As we got into Kentucky, the rain stopped, but the skies remained cloudy.
It is amazing how fast this trip went to Atlanta.  Here we are entering a tunnel under a runway at Atlanta's airport.
As we came out the other side, we were "buzzed" by several very large aircraft!

Please stay tuned for more images of our road trip.  We will spend a few extra days on the road this time before boarding the ship.

All the best,
Lois

Atlanta was my first destination in the States a long time ago. I would really like to see anything new about this great city...

I wish you safe travels Lois. It's not fun travelling in the rain with all the traffic so I hope you have sunny days this trip. Blessings, Pamela

I'm getting ready for a road trip (but a short one, alas) next month. Take care and be careful on slippery roads should you encounter them. Love that first rainy shot!
