Doggie Dinner Time

Good morning,

Doggie Dinner Time is very fast at our house!  That's Catherine feeding Erik, one of our two Labrador Retrievers.
Catherine prepares raw food for our dogs who are also canine athletes.
Catherine doesn't make Erik stand up to eat, he does it on his own.  Erik has extremely strong legs from all of his workouts while training for agility trials.  Note our other Lab, Penny, looking on at the bottom left.  She had already had most of her food and is just waiting for a couple more bites.
Erik:  Mom, if I sit pretty, may I have extra dinner?
And, then, a little lick from Penny:  More for me, please?  (She's such a lady.)
After their regular dinner, they shared some sliced turkey.  Oh, yum!

It took fewer than two minutes to take the pictures for this post.  Doggie Dinner Time goes very fast at our house.  :)

Enjoy,
Lois

It's fun to watch their eating habits Lois. And I think each dog does it differently. I couldn't begin to describe how my Ruby and Roxy eat but it can be fun to watch!
Love Di ♥

Loved this post! Molly is not a "polite" eater. I never spoiled her or anything like that. . .

Dinner time must go quickly if you took the pictures that fast! What a cute pair!

The dinner disappeared quickly, and five minutes later they could do it all over again. It's amazing how labs are always so hungry.

Love this post! I wish I would have taken the time to learn agility with Maggie May.

Aw, they are both so sweet! I wish our dog was that well trained, unfortunately she is a rescue who came with some pretty lousy manners that we are trying to fix --sigh. But she's a very patient dog with the kids which is what my Camera Critters post is about this week :-)

Two beautiful pups!! I'm sure it DOES go quick!! Chevy is a slow eater and doesn't eat much. It's an adjustment for me!! ...debbie
