Dolphins at Port Canaveral, Florida

Good morning,

It took me several attempts to snap a picture of the dolphins playing in Port Canaveral recently.  That little character finally surfaced at the same time I snapped the camera.  He and his friends were playing and giving a great show to us on board Freedom of the Seas (the image is from my stateroom window) and a Disney ship.  The shadow at the top of the image is from the Disney ship.
Port Canaveral is one of the easiest ports to access by car to park near your cruise ship, but there are draw bridges that can slow down traffic for a few minutes once in awhile.  I pass this way every Sunday for ten weeks at a time.  If I remember correctly, I only waited for a drawbridge twice and the wait was very brief each time.
And, here we go!

In real time we are heading North to Ohio right now.  :)   We plan to spend some time in the Smoky Mountains.  Images to come!

All the best,
Lois

Your attempts to snap a dolphin is somewhat like my attempts to snap a bird exiting a bird house, Lois! ☺

Yikes, drawbridges! One of things nightmares are made of!

Nice picture of the dolphin. I'm glad it obliged you at the last moment.

Draw bridges are OKAY if you don't have to wait a long time. :)

Hi, Lois. Thanks for your recent visit. I have just gone back through recent posts about your cruise. I am not jealous because that is such a base emotion . . . OK, I'm lying.
