Jelly Fish - Newport Aquarium

Good morning,

I love the way the jelly fish are displayed at the Newport Aquarium in Newport Kentucky.  They are in various tanks with lights that allow us to see how beautifully they move when the swim.

I'll never forget seeing hundreds of thousands of jelly fish when we were sailing into Copenhagen, Denmark.  The entire harbor was filled with them.  It would not have been a good day for a swim!
This is the lighting in the room where the jelly fish are displayed.  How fun!

All the best,
Lois

Hi Lois. The jelly fish display is my wife's favorite. I tend to linger at the Ohio River display.

I remember seeing the most wonderful jelly fish display, complete with outstanding music at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. There is something so hypnotic about watching jelly fish float gently down from the top of huge tanks.

Not the light fixtures you would expect at an aquarium, but perfect for seeing the jellyfish. I love when a place like this is creative in their displays.
