Needlework Update

Good morning,

Here's another needlework update.  I'm having a wonderful time designing more clothes for my 18" doll, Ginger.  My pattern for this outfit is in the shop, too.  This sweater is knit in one piece from the bottom up with seams only at the shoulders.  The sleeves are picked up and knit in the round from the armholes so there are no seams.  I just love it that way.  The pattern in the yarn creates the fair isle-type design.
This one is in the finished stack now!
And, so is this baby set.
On the needles now is a sweater for my daughter, Catherine.  She knows I'm making this and now she can see a preview.  ;)

What are you making these days that are getting warmer and warmer here in the Northern Hemisphere?  From reading their blogs, I know my friends down under are making warm comfort food and warm clothing now.

Best,
Lois

Hi Lois, I am on a knitting kick at the moment. I have two cardigans and a jumper on the go. Oh and a scarf. The jumper only needs sewing up and I think one cardigan is at the sewing up point to. Really must pull my finger out. These are all for next winter. Keep busy, Judith x

The baby's set is just awesome. They ALL are beautiful. Having no talent whatsoever with needlework, I am simply amazed by all of this. (I did try and knit something once, a scarf for my Dad when I was little, it took so long and I made so little progress it ended up being stitched together as a tube dress for Barbi)

Hi,

I've been extremely busy with the needles this time. It seems the new ideas come faster than I can get patterns written and things made. I am blessed to have the time to be able to do this.

Thank you SO much for your kind comments.

Very best,
Lois
