Hi Lois...enjoying the trip,but I will be glad when I catch up with you.Now that spring is here I a right out straight with so much to be done...and I couldn't wait...well for warmer weather!!!Beautiful area's you trip is providing, the country side, and places you have stopped are lovely to see!! Our son and dil lived in NC...I don't think we ever went there in the spring. Everything looks so nice and green and blooming.

The dogwood blossoms are so beautiful! I admire towns and states that create beautiful rest areas.
Where you see tree trimmings and firewood, I see goat food and firewood. They love those pine trimmings! Keep the cherry away though. Deadly!
I have always loved dogwood trees and that one is a beauty. The rest stop is definitely a cut above the normal! This is a beautiful time of year for your trip south.
