Concentration Faces

Good morning,

It was so cold outside one day when the kids were here that we lined up their computers and ours so we could all have some family computer time in the dining room.  We are all computer geeks and when someone calls us that, we take it as a compliment.  ;)

I don't think Kate, above, even noticed I was taking this picture as she was totally engrossed with her computer.
Alex is deeply engrossed in his game.  It's an age appropriate game that is not only fun, it is teaching reading and spelling skills.
His expressions are priceless!
He was more than willing, though, to move one chair to his right when he noticed the ice cream and apple juice.  ;)
Life is good with computers and ice cream on a cold, inside day.

Aren't kids wonderful!

Very best,
Lois

I agree, there's nothing better than grandchildren and cute Alex is a very expressive one, Lois! Computers do make learning fun, all my grandchildren were computer savvy from an early age too, especially Alivia. Computers and books are good for me too on rainy days, like today!

the kids might like to come over and give this old dinosaur some lessons.

Cute pictures! I stop in at Kjell's blog now and then. He has a tremendous eye for composition. He sees things I would never think of in formatting a shot.

Your grands are really into their puters. They are adorable. I miss my grands at that age. They are all grown up now. Man I still can smell that bread....

Cute kids.... I love Alex's hair, the bedhead look. He reminds me of my son who is going to be a daddy within the next couple of weeks. Grandchild number two for me.

Precious photos of your grandkids, and a great way to spend a rainy day. My little 2-year-old granddaughter amazes me with her techie skills and her "my-pod".

Hi,

Oh, yes, this was a fun day. The kids come by the computer thing naturally since that is what their Dad does for a living. And, Grandpa and I are both geeks, too.

Thanks, Sherry, for the kind words about Kjell's blog. I have a plug for it and his photo web site coming tomorrow on my blog. :)

Sure, Deere Driver, but we weren't home much today as I mentioned in my comment on your blog. We still don't know what is wrong with the car. Waiting for a tow truck is no way to enjoy an afternoon. I'm so glad we have AAA, though.

Thanks so much for stopping by, everyone, and for your very sweet words about those darling kids. :)

Hugs,
Lois
