Black Tulips

Good morning,

These are called "black tulips," but they are actually a very deep purple.

Several years ago a friend shared these with us.  The had picked them up from the Cincinnati Parks Department who were giving them away.  They had used them as a display and raised the bulbs at the end of the season for different flowers.  We were delighted to have them and are happy that they have continued to bloom year after year.
