Good morning,

The kitchen smelled wonderful all day last Sunday. 

The image above is my home made bread dough in the "first rise" stage.  It's sitting in the oven with just the light on, no extra heat.

My Honey made the cabbage and lamb.  Our large crock pot was filled to the brim.

Here's the bread back in the oven in the baking pans for the second rise.

And, here's dinner a little while later.  Cabbage, lamb, cranberry sauce, apple sauce, and bread.  I missed getting the boiled potatoes in the picture, but they were here, too. 

This is Norwegian Comfort Food.  It was all wonderful!

This is the last comfort food meal we'll have time to make before we go back to sea.  We won't starve there, either, but it's not the same as cooking at home.
