Norwegian Motel and Restaurant

Good morning,

While we were in Norway in June we managed to meet with many friends and relatives.  One of our friends was a distance away from Toensberg where we were staying so we met him for lunch at a restaurant that was also part of a motel.
We got to the restaurant before our friend so had a good time taking pictures of the outside of the place including this antique American car.  American cars are very popular in Norway.
This was our rental car.  Very comfy.
This motel and restaurant has a classic Norwegian grass roof.

There was plenty of seating space outside, but most people were eating inside.
Summer flowers in Norway.  It was a little chilly so most people were eating inside.
When our friends arrived we went inside and got coffee, then came out here to enjoy it and chat for awhile.  I would have loved to have taken pictures inside the restaurant, but there were so many people that I didn't feel comfortable taking pictures of them.

What a beautiful day at a beautiful place.

All the best,
Lois
