Happy Easter from the High Seas

Good morning and Happy Easter!

We hope you are enjoying a Blessed Easter Sunday with your family and friends.  Holidays on board a ship are celebrated very much as they are ashore.  Clergy are aboard to conduct services and they are very well attended.

Today's images are of Freedom of the Seas in the Port of St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.  When you cross the gangway to go ashore, you get an entirely different picture of the ship and feeling about how large it really is.
Standing near the gangway I took this image of the forward part of the ship.  Note the relative size of the people standing on the dockside.
Standing in the same spot, this is image is of the aft of the ship.  Freedom stops just behind where the two people on the left are standing.  There is another ship "parked" beyond.

All the best,
Lois
