Itinerary Change to Montego Bay, Jamaica

Good morning,

When the weather is bad, cruise ships just go somewhere else.
That's exactly what happened when the deck chairs were tied down on the forward deck and we headed for Montego Bay, Jamaica.
We were scheduled to go to Falmouth, Jamaica, but we played musical chairs (ports) with Allure of the Seas, another ship in our fleet.  Allure is too large to dock in Montego Bay so Freedom of the Seas got a change of scenery and came here.
I remember being at this dock in the late 1990's while we were aboard Splendour of the Seas.
As we entered the harbor and turned to position the ship to tie up...
...we saw new areas of development at this gorgeous port.
I was not alone on deck 12 watching the arrival.
 The weather here is gorgeous!
And, the images look like advertisements for vacations here.
This is new development for even more hotels and condos.

When we move to another port to get away from bad weather, it is an opportunity to see something different.

Lovely!

Lois

Those new condos will be amazing once they are finished. What a great location too.

It looks quite different from our dark and gray November!

It does look great. I would think a change in routine would be good for the crew.
