Mom's Not Here!

Good morning,

I could make an adjustment to this one for my home:  Your Mother Is Here:  Clean Up After Yourself Anyway!
Or, I could post this....  ;)

Seriously, the system works pretty well at my home.  And, when My Honey and I are away, they do a good job at home, too.

New Years Foods

Good morning,

We enjoyed New Years foods with friends.  Above you see sauerkraut, a traditional New Years food for many country traditions.
Of course, bread and wine are also important.
This is a vegetable salad made by a friend.
And, the BEST home made bread, warm from the oven.
Oven baked sliced potatoes and suckling pig completed the menu.

Yum!  What a great start to 2016!

What are your traditional foods for New Years?

Enjoy,
Lois

View Down the Starboard Side - Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

This is a view down the starboard side of Freedom of the Seas as seen from the wing bridge.

That round item hanging over the side is a hot tub with a view!

Enjoy,

Junior Mariner - Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

Isn't she darling!  This little lady was part of a tour that included the Bridge of Freedom of the Seas.  That's the Chief Engineer giving her a little guidance.

The young lady is from Sweden and was quite happy to find Scandinavians who speak her language.

Enjoy!

Other info:  If you're interested in taking an All Access Tour (there is a charge), be sure to sign up as soon as you get on board.  The tours fill up quickly.

R Bar - Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

I try to get images of the different areas of Freedom of the Seas when there aren't too many people in them.  Today's images are of the R Bar, a very elegant place to relax and enjoy the company of friends and a drink.
Such a pretty place!

Wing Bridge - Navigator of the Seas

Good morning,

This is a view of the Wing Bridge and Bow of the Navigator of the Seas from a perspective that is a little different than the usual view from the dockside.  I am on board Freedom of the Seas while the two ships are docked side by side so am high enough to get the picture from this angle.

Navigator is similar to Freedom, but is slightly smaller.  The two ships are "sisters" in the Royal Caribbean fleet.

Enjoy,
Lois

Animals Have Invaded the Royal Suite!

Good morning,

My friends are staying in the Royal Suite aboard Freedom of the Seas
When we stopped in their suite, we discovered animals had invaded and were atop the baby grand piano in the living room.

It seems these holiday travelers also have a liking for chocolate!
While in the Royal Suite I also took pictures of the hot tub out on the balcony.
On another visit to this suite I took extensive pictures that you can see here:
