Oscar Sun Bathing

Good morning,

One day while standing on the bridge of Freedom of the Seas I noticed this guy in a wet suit passed out on a deck chair on the bow of the ship.

This is how he looked without the zoom.

Have you ever been on board a ship and you hear the announcement "Oscar, Oscar, Oscar?"

Well, this is Oscar.  Actually, he is a dummy that is used for the Man Overboard crew drills.  I just got such a kick out of how the crew had propped him up in the chair.

Life at sea is such fun.

Mud Slides - Yum!

Well, my friends De and Walt were on board again. 

We have a tradition of spending a couple of hours enjoying a mud slide...

...and solving all the problems of the world. 

Yep, all solved until the next time they are on board.

Royal Promenade Bridge - Freedom of the Seas

I've shown you this bride in the Royal Promenade of Freedom of the Seas before, yet every time I take a picture, it looks different.  The lighting is always changing giving a different beautiful effect from one minute to the next.

Christmas Roses

Good morning,

These are so pretty!  We are no longer able to get fresh flowers on board the ship, but My Honey managed to get these ashore for me for Christmas.  They have lasted more than a week and are still so very fragrant.

New Year's Day Aboard Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

Here we are aboard Freedom of the Seas, gathered around our fireplace with just a few more presents to open during this holiday season.

OK, so the fireplace is on TV, but there is beautiful music that comes with it.  :)
