Good morning,
This beautiful sight is near Labadee, Haiti.
How lovely to see the sun shining on this gorgeous sailboat.
Enjoy,
Lois

Evening Pastels on Smooth Seas
Good morning,
I took this image from our suite aboard Freedom of the Seas.
It is so beautifully peaceful out here.

Dolphins! Port Canaveral, Florida
Good morning,
We see dolphins quite often while out here at sea, especially while we are in Port Canaveral, Florida.
They seem to like to be near the cruise ships and provide wonderful entertainment.
Beautiful creatures!
Enjoy,
Lois

Return to Sabor
Good morning,
I haven't shown you a picture of food for awhile and I don't want you to think we have gone hungry! Ha! Not a chance of that!
This image was taken at Sabor, Freedom of the Seas' Mexican restaurant.

Big Lift
Good morning,
My Honey and I spend a great deal of time at sea so see some very interesting things from time to time. The profile of this ship drew me to the window to take a second look.
I zoomed my camera to be able to read "Big Lift" on the side and realize it is a ship that raises other ships that have sunk.
Fascinating!

Shopping in Cozumel, Mexico
Good morning,
My daughter, Catherine, and I went ashore to shop at the dockside in Cozumel, Mexico.
While she was inside shopping, I took some images on the outside. These shops are so very convenient out at the dock. This particular shop has some very reasonably priced items for souvenirs. Generally, my digital images are my souvenirs, but I do admit to buying a t-shirt once in awhile.

Two of a Kind in Cozumel, Mexico
Good morning,
It was a gorgeous, sunny day when I took these images of two sisters side by side in Cozumel, Mexico.
Freedom of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas are sisters, but there have been changes to each of them since they were launched. The most obvious difference from here is the addition of the water slide on board Liberty.
Such beautiful ships!
Enjoy,

All Tied Up - Cozumel, Mexico
Good morning,
It's when you get off of a cruise ship that you realize just how big it is!
This is Freedom of the Seas all tied up in Cozumel, Mexico.
So pretty!

Glass Art - Freedom of the Seas
Good morning,
This is a huge piece of art! It is three dimensional glass flowers in Boleros Bar aboard Freedom of the Seas. There are several of these located throughout the bar.
Beautiful!

Casino Royale - Freedom of the Seas
Good morning,
I strolled through the Casino Royale aboard Freedom of the Seas while the casino was closed so I had the opportunity to take a few pictures.
The decor is 1920's gangster...
...and there is terrific artwork throughout the casino.
Unless the lights are bright, however, it is not always easy to see.
What a fun place!
Enjoy,
Lois

Liberty of the Seas - Arrival Cozumel, Mexico
Good morning,
What a beautiful sight! This is Liberty of the Seas approaching Cozumel, Mexico.
I am taking these images from Freedom of the Seas, Liberty's sister ship. So, this is like looking in the mirror.
Gorgeous!

Needlework and Wood Update - September, 2016
Good morning,
Since we've been home on vacation, we have more wood items to show you this month than when we are at sea where My Honey isn't able to make these beautiful items.
The box above is incredible. The long drawer on the right has brass hooks at the top so you can hang necklaces. Two of the four drawers have a secret, too; there are two hidden drawers in the back of them.
We've added many more turned wood bird houses to the shop, too.
Each one of these is unique.
These are beautiful on your Christmas tree, on house plants, or hung by themselves.
And, finally several more that are longer. Many of these are available in the shop.
And, back to more jewelry boxes!
This tiny box is perfect for a ring, locket, or chain bracelet.
The knitting this month included this lovely lettuce green textured lace sweater,
a matching green hat,
boot cuffs,
and a head band.
I also made another side button sweater vest that has been delivered to the lady who ordered it. I like this style so much I plan to make more of them for the shop.
So, that's it for another month of our needlework and wood projects.
Many of these and 300 more items are available in our on-line shop, EvensensProductions.com. We hope you'll come over and take a look at what's available when you're doing your holiday shopping and throughout the year.
Until next month's update, we now return to our regularly scheduled blogging. ;)

Our final two wood items this month are coffee scoops. The one above is gold plated and there is another in the shop that is chrome plated.

Stay tuned for images from the high seas!

Sunrise on Route 528
I took these images through the windshield of our car (My Honey was driving, of course) while we were driving across Route 528 from I-95 to Port Canaveral.
The electric sign directs drivers to the various cruise ships. We're on our way to Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas.
Enjoy!

Our Last Day of Vacation
We spent our last few hours of vacation sitting pool side at the Hampton Inn, Viera, Florida.
It was an amazingly comfortable evening with a breeze of air that had been freshened by Hurricane Hermine the day before.
Beautiful!
All the best,
Lois

Phone Box at Hampton Inn
Good morning,
If you're a smoker, Hampton Inn, Columbia, SC, has provided this spot for you outside and away from the front door.
Although we didn't use this area, I do like the rocking chair touch.
We stayed here for two days this time, waiting for Hurricane Hermine to pass by before we could drive South to Florida.
