Rainy Day at Sea Knitting

Good morning,

 There is plenty to do on the ship when it is a rainy day, but I bring plenty to do with me.

I'm sometimes asked if I am bored being at sea.  No, I always have my knitting with me!

Giovanni's Table Specialties - Freedom of the Seas

Good evening,

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Giovanni's Table, the specialty Italian Restaurant aboard Freedom of the Seas with our friends Libby and Bob.

Libby is enjoying the shrimp...

...this is my filet mignon...

...and this is a pasta dish we all shared.

Thanks, Libby and Bob!  This was a lovely evening with fabulous food.

Captain's Corner

Good morning,

One event I never miss on board Freedom of the Seas is "Captain's Corner." All the top officers are there to meet the guests. 

The event is held the first sea day at 10:30 on the Royal Promenade.  The entire Executive Team is available to answer questions. 

The officers have important information to share, yet are so very funny as they answer the questions.  I consider this the comedy half hour of the week.

Sailing Out of Port Canaveral

Good morning,

I took today's pictures as we were sailing out of Port Canaveral aboard Freedom of the Seas.

These beautiful white sand beaches stretch in both directions from the port.  This view is to the North.  To the South this beach stretches all the way to South Beach in Miami.  Gorgeous!

Good morning,

We are getting close!  There in the distance is Freedom of the Seas, our floating home for the near future. 

She's beautiful!
