Drive Carefully

Good morning,

Sometimes a quick trip to the wood store isn't so quick.  At the end of a long traffic jam we found this mess.

We hope the people in these four cars are all OK.

There were no medical emergency vehicles, so we are guessing these folks only have damage to their cars.

Changing lanes at 70 mph can be hazardous to your health!

Our Ohio State Highway Patrol had it all under control and kept the traffic moving around this mess.  Our OSHP are our heroes and always so appreciated.

Hibiscus

Good morning,

I'm sharing some of the beauty in my back yard today.  This beautiful "Rose of Sharon" is a descendant of those that were here when we moved in in 1979.

Lovely.

Stack 'em Up!

Good morning,

This is the "stack of Labs" just inside the dining room door from the kitchen.  They are patiently waiting while I'm making dinner.

Precious!

A Milestone!

Good morning,

I am so happy with this I just had to share.  I just finished a new original design sweater back for a custom order.  The color is a delicate lettuce green.

The piece is laying across a chair near where I work so is not flat in this picture.

Now on to the front of the sweater.

Mr. Erik, My Sidekick

Good morning,

Whatever I'm doing around the house I can turn around and see my pal, Mr. Erik, nearby.

He is the nicest guy. He always attentively listens to what I say and never complains.  What a sweetheart!

My Master Wood Turner

Good morning,

This is My Honey, my master wood turner, in his workshop.

He just turned out another group of bird house ornaments.  They are not yet finished, however.  They need to be polished and also need to have their perches attached.

These are taller and much more ornate than the ones he made a few days ago.

Beautiful!

Portrait of a Sandwich

Good morning,

OK, this is a somewhat silly post.  But, that sandwich sure was good.  In fact, it looks so good I am ready to go make another one.  It's ham and cheese on home made bread.  Oh, yes, so good!

It was a perfect meal on a hot summer day.
