Moth or Butterfly?
Good morning,
This beauty was drying its wings on the gate across my driveway recently.
I'm sure one or more of my readers can identify it for me.
So pretty! I look at these beauties of nature for inspiration for colors and designs for my knit and crochet designs.
Hi, Lois. That's a Hackberry Butterfly. As the name suggests, their larvae feed on the leaves of Hackberry trees. They often perch on people to drink salty perspiration.
