The weather has been somewhat unusual here this year. Well, "unusual" is "usual" most of the time. But, this year the temperature swings were even more pronounced than usual.
We had quite warm weather in March, then suddenly have had some very cool days in May. Generally (I won't say usually again), our Snow Drops bloom only once in the late Winter/very early Spring. This year, though, we are enjoying a second blooming during this very cool month of May.

The plant in your photo is generally known as Star of Bethlehem, Ornithogalum umbellatum. All parts of this plant are considered poisonous and could cause disastrous results if eaten by one of the dogs.
Thank you, Steve. Yes, I've heard the other name for them, too. I wasn't aware they are poisonous, though. They are in the front yard where the dogs don't go so I'm not worried about that clump of them. I'll have to check the back yard, though. Thanks, again.
Hi, Lois. I'm glad the dogs are safe. If you compare this picture with the Snow Drops photo you posted in March, you'll see that this plant is not the same as those.
